What Ruby has to say ... being 1

• If you put me down I'll scream till you pick me up, if you pick me up I'll wiggle and squirm till you put me down

• I want food that doesn't taste like anything I don't like the taste of  ... Really think that's easy enough ...will spit out if you get it wrong

• I prefer whatever you're drinking. Coffee won't effect me ... really ! And wine will relax me.

• Why did you have these other 2 kids before me ? Am I not enough for you ?

• No one tells me when to sleep ! 

• Yes I can sit on the floor and play BUT only if you sit on the floor beside me and do nothing else but play with me.

• Night ...Day ...Sleep ... Play ... doesn't go in pairs

• I want to be alone using the potty cause I can ... But don't leave me alone

• I just realized I want tea. But I'm sure I needed it 15 minutes ago so it's to late now. I am gonna throw myself down on the floor now cause you didn't predict my thirst.

• I need huge amounts of love affection and reassurance but don't touch me and don't let me stand here on my own

• I want to eat the brick of butter, why can't I ?

• Why did you cut my cheese in square blocks, I specifically wanted octagon shapes !

• The bag of flour can rip itself open when I sit next to it, really it can !

• The fact that you are late doesn't mean you can put me in my car seat. If you get irritable I get nervous and will do it slower. Plan you day better so you don't rush me !

• I want to watch Dora, Barney and Heidi the same time. What's wrong with the DVD player !!!

• It's not that I demand much. You people are just content with such simple lives.

• How can you bring kids into this dangerous environment with kettles, stoves, plugs, stairs, knives, pepper, doors and drawers ... And you think you are stressed !

• I know exactly what I want, your primitive language just doesn't have words for it.

• How dare you open my packet of chips just because I can't ... Now I don't want it anymore  

• Only speak when you are spoken to ... your babbles freak me out !

• My voice came with this high pitch screech so it's normal

• I'll wear any clothes as long as it doesn't touch my knees, elbows, shoulders or  hips

• Don't know how you adults get so old cause you know sooooooo little

• I have 20 teeth and I am not afraid to use everyone of them to get my way

• I think siblings is a great idea, it helps to take my frustration out on them 

• I need you to come to me within milliseconds when I call you, when you call me please be patient till I get there if I get there, sometimes I'm busy

• The fact that you have the bath ready and other two kids almost bathed doesn't mean it suits me to go bath, I might be busy wrapping a present for someone I might meet someday 

• Not my problem kitchen cupboards not as secure as safes ... If I can get to anything ...( AND I CAN ) it's mine

• Why should I nap in the afternoon, doesn't bother me to have meltdowns later on

• I experience no difference using your Dermelogica facial products compared to Aquascream ... so I mixed them for you

• I have a HUGE problem with the fact that you decide what's allowed and what's not 

• When I throw stuff on the floor out of frustration look where it lands cause it only upsets me more when I can't find it
